This Privacy Policy describes how METIS ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your data when you connect your Google account to our platform.

Data We Access

When you authorize METIS through Google OAuth, we request access to the following scopes:

• Google Calendar ? Read and create calendar events to schedule tasks and appointments.
• Gmail ? Send ? Send emails on your behalf for notifications and automated correspondence.
• Gmail ? Read Only ? Read your Gmail to process incoming messages and extract relevant information.
• Google Sheets ? Read and write spreadsheet data for tracking pipelines and reporting.

How We Use Your Data

Your Google data is used solely to perform the automated tasks you have authorized. Specifically:

• Calendar events are created or read to manage scheduling.
• Emails are sent to deliver notifications and reports.
• Emails are read to process incoming correspondence and extract action items.
• Spreadsheet data is read and updated to maintain operational records.

Data Storage

OAuth refresh tokens are stored securely in an encrypted vault on our private server. No Google passwords are ever stored. Access tokens are obtained on-demand from the refresh token and are not persisted beyond their expiration.

Data Sharing

We do not share your Google data with any third parties. Data is processed exclusively within the METIS ecosystem on our private infrastructure.

Data Retention

Your OAuth refresh token remains stored until you revoke access. You can revoke access at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions and removing METIS. Upon revocation, the refresh token is deleted from our vault.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Credentials are stored in an encrypted environment vault with restricted access. Only the platform owner has access to the vault.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Revoke access at any time via Google Account Permissions
• Request deletion of your stored credentials
• Request a summary of what data has been accessed
